Summer school

Session 1

Andover, Anoka, Champlin

• June 15-26 (no school on June 19)
• Time: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Grades 9-11-Sandburg Regional High School, Anoka
• Grade 12 and ML Program-Technical HS, Anoka Technical College

Tidbits:

• Students are dropped if they don’t attend for five days in a row
• Let us know in the notes if they need to start later due to a vacation within their session
• Brunch is provided at both sites
• There is no auto-dialer for attendance.

Transportation

Sessions are based on attendance area, ie specialty program students will attend the home high school attendance area.

If a student receives transportation from out of the district for specialty programing they will not have transportation in the summer.

Bus routes are different in the summer and built for credit recovery. If a student requests transportation after the cut off we will submit it to find out if there is a stop near their address.

Important Dates:

• June 2 - Referral deadline
• May 2 - Referrals due to guarantee transportation
• June 9 - Bus cards sent
• June 12-13 - Information sent to families from Megan via email 
• June 13 - Schedule information will be available to families on student and parent Vue

Chromebooks:

Students should turn in chromebooks to their high school at the end of the year. 

We will provide them to all students in the classroom at both sites.
