The school district is aware of predicted winter weather conditions forecasted for Monday, Mar. 16, 2026, and plans to continue with school operations as scheduled. This decision was made after careful consideration of the timing of local weather forecasts.

Due to predicted extreme winter weather conditions, all Anoka-Hennepin schools will be closed Sunday, March 15, 2026.
Anoka-Hennepin Schools’ superintendent Cory McIntyre announced his intent to not seek renewal of his contract after his current term expires, June 30, 2026. The Anoka-Hennepin School Board will determine a pathway forward to ensure a strong transition and district leadership plan in advance of the 2026-27 school year.
